Lethality - Premium CS2 Web Radar

CS2 Feature Deep Dive

CS2 Shareable Web Radar

Browser-Based. Real-Time. Accessible Anywhere.

The web radar runs in your browser — not as a game overlay. Access it from a second monitor, tablet, or phone. Share the URL with teammates for instant coordination. Real-time player positions, health status, equipment tracking, and zero overlay footprint. No screen capture, no suspicious processes, no detection risk from traditional ESP overlays.

What Is the CS2 Web Radar?

The web radar is a browser-based radar overlay that displays real-time positions of all players, grenades, and planted bombs on the current map. Unlike traditional ESP overlays that render directly on your game screen, the web radar runs as a standalone web page that you access through any browser — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, even mobile browsers.

It connects to the Lethality client running on your gaming PC and pulls live game state data every frame. The result is a real-time tactical map that updates instantly as players move, weapons are dropped, grenades are thrown, and utility is deployed. Because it's browser-based, you can view it on a second monitor, laptop, tablet, or phone — and you can share the URL with teammates for coordinated plays.

Why Web-Based Matters
  • No overlay injection into game process
  • No suspicious rendering hooks or DirectX manipulation
  • Accessible from any device on your local network
  • Lower detection risk than traditional ESP
What It Shows
  • Real-time player positions (CT/T color-coded)
  • Player health and armor status
  • Equipped weapons and grenades
  • Bomb location (dropped, planted, or carried)

How the Web Radar Works

The web radar operates through a lightweight local web server that runs alongside the Lethality client. The client reads game state from CS2 memory, processes the data, and streams it to the web server in real-time. You access the radar by navigating to a local URL in your browser. The page updates live as the game progresses — no refresh needed.

01

Data Collection

The Lethality client reads player positions, team affiliations, health, armor, weapons, grenades, and bomb state from CS2 game memory. This data is processed and sanitized into a lightweight JSON format every frame.

02

Web Server Streaming

The processed game state is pushed to a local web server via WebSocket connection. The server broadcasts this data to any connected browser client — your second monitor, tablet, or teammate's device.

03

Browser Rendering

The browser client receives the data stream and renders it as a top-down 2D radar overlay on the map. Player icons are color-coded, health bars update in real-time, and the view updates smoothly as the game progresses.

Traditional ESP Overlays
  • Inject directly into game rendering pipeline
  • Visible to screenshot/screen capture software
  • Can trigger DirectX hook detections
  • Requires constant updates for game patches
  • Only viewable on the gaming PC monitor
  • Cannot be shared with teammates
Detection Risk Comparison

Traditional ESP overlays are one of the highest-risk cheat features. They hook into the game's rendering process, create visible overlays that appear in screenshots, and leave footprints in memory that anti-cheat systems actively scan for. The web radar bypasses all of this.

In-Game Overlay ESP High Risk
Web-Based Radar Low Risk
Safety Advantage

Why Web Radar Is
Safer Than Overlays

The web radar operates completely outside the game process. No DirectX hooks, no rendering injections, no visible overlays on your game screen. From CS2's perspective, you're just running a browser in the background — which is completely normal and undetectable. This separation provides a massive safety advantage over traditional ESP implementations.

1

No Process Injection

The web server runs as a separate process entirely. It never injects code into CS2, never hooks game functions, and never manipulates the game's memory directly. Anti-cheat systems that scan for injected DLLs or modified game files will find nothing.

2

Screenshot Safe

Because the radar runs in a browser window (or on a second monitor/device), it never appears in CS2 screenshots. Even if Valve implements screenshot-based anti-cheat reviewers will never see the radar overlay on your game screen.

3

No Rendering Hooks

Traditional ESP overlays hook into DirectX or Vulkan rendering calls to draw boxes and text on your screen. These hooks are detectable and risky. The web radar bypasses this entirely by rendering in a browser using standard HTML/CSS/JS.

Lethality Web Radar Benefits
  • No game process modification required
  • Completely invisible to in-game screenshots
  • Accessible from any device on your network
  • Shareable with teammates for coordination
  • Survives game updates without recoding
  • Lower overall detection footprint

Web Radar Use Cases

The web radar shines in specific scenarios where real-time positioning information provides maximum advantage. Here's when to use it.

Premade 5-Stack Ranked Games

Share the radar URL with your 5-stack before the match. Everyone opens it on a second monitor, tablet, or phone. Now the entire team has perfect information about enemy positions, rotations, and utility usage. Coordinate site executes, fake strategies, and retakes with precision.

In-Game Leading & Calling

If you're the IGL, keep the web radar open on a second monitor while you play. You'll see exactly where your teammates are positioned, where enemies are pushing, and what utility has been thrown. Make better mid-round calls with complete map awareness.

Post-Plant Situations

After planting the bomb, glance at the web radar to see exactly where defenders are rotating from. Position yourself to intercept the retake, avoid being flanked, and maximize your post-plant advantage. The radar shows you their exact paths before they peek you.

Solo Queue Positioning

Even in solo queue, the radar helps you make better individual decisions. Know when enemies are stacking a site vs. splitting. Identify lurkers before they catch you rotating. Avoid peeking into multiple enemies by seeing their positions ahead of time.

Scrim & Tournament Prep

Coaches and analysts can watch the radar feed during scrims to identify positioning weaknesses, rotation patterns, and where opponents tend to stack defensive setups. Review rounds afterward with perfect information about where everyone was at all times.

Learning Positioning & Timings

Use the radar while playing to understand common positioning patterns. See where enemies tend to play on specific maps, learn rotation timings, and identify meta positioning trends. The radar is a teaching tool as much as it is a competitive advantage.

Best Practices

Don't stare at the radar constantly — treat it like a minimap. Glance at it between engagements to gather information, then focus back on your crosshair placement and game sense. The radar provides context, but your mechanics still need to execute the plays.

FAQ

Web Radar FAQ

Do teammates need Lethality installed to view the radar?
No. The radar URL can be opened in any standard web browser — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, or mobile browsers. Teammates just need the URL and an internet connection. No installation, no client download, no configuration required on their end.
Can I access the radar from my phone or tablet?
Yes. The radar is fully responsive and works on mobile devices. Open the URL on your phone or tablet while playing and prop it up next to your monitor. Perfect for single-monitor setups where running a browser window on the same screen would be distracting.
How much bandwidth does the radar use?
Very little — typically 50-100 KB/s depending on update rate settings. The data is compressed and optimized for low bandwidth. Even on mobile data or slower connections, the radar will run smoothly. You can adjust update rates in settings to further reduce bandwidth if needed.
Does the web radar work on all CS2 maps?
Yes. The radar automatically loads the correct map layout based on the server you're playing on. All official Valve maps are supported, along with most popular community maps. Custom/modded maps may require a manual map file upload via the settings interface.
Can spectators or coaches use the radar without playing?
Yes. That's one of the best features. A sixth person (coach, analyst, or friend) can watch the radar and provide real-time callouts without being in the game. They just open the shared URL and see everything the Lethality client is seeing.
Is the radar visible in CS2 screenshots or recordings?
No. The radar runs in a separate browser window outside the game. It will never appear in CS2 screenshots, ShadowPlay recordings, or OBS captures unless you explicitly configure your recording software to capture the browser window too.
What happens if I close the Lethality client mid-game?
The radar will stop updating and display a "Connection Lost" message in the browser. It doesn't crash or throw errors — it just pauses until the client reconnects. If you restart the client, the radar automatically reconnects and resumes updating.
Can the radar be used for demo review or VOD analysis?
Currently, the radar only displays real-time data during live games. Demo playback support is planned for a future update. For now, you can record your browser window showing the radar alongside your gameplay footage for post-game analysis.
