An aimbot is aim assistance software that reads player positions from the game and automatically adjusts your crosshair placement to track or snap to enemies. In Counter-Strike 2, where accurate headshots and consistent spray control are the difference between winning and losing rounds, an aimbot removes the margin for error in aiming mechanics.
There are two main types of aimbots: external aimbots, which run as a separate process and read game memory without directly modifying it, and internal aimbots, which inject code directly into the game's process. Lethality uses an external implementation — more stable across game updates, harder to detect through traditional anti-cheat scans, and lower-risk overall.
The aimbot operates externally — it reads player positions and bone structures from game memory without touching the game's code or process directly. When activated, it calculates the angle from your current aim position to the selected enemy hitbox and applies smooth input corrections through the OS input layer. The result is accurate, human-looking aim that holds up under spectator observation.
Position Detection
The aimbot continuously scans game memory for player entity positions, bone structures, team affiliations, and health states. It builds a real-time map of every player on the server and their current stance.
Target Filtering
Filters targets based on your configured settings — FOV radius, team check, visibility check, and distance limits. Only enemies that meet all criteria are considered valid targets for aim correction.
Smooth Correction
Calculates the angle delta between your current aim and the target bone, then applies input corrections gradually based on your smoothing value. The movement looks natural and human-like at spectator speeds.
FOV (field of view) control defines a detection radius around your crosshair. The aimbot only activates when an enemy enters that zone. Set it tight for subtle corrections on targets you're already aiming near. Open it up for aggressive target acquisition on fast flicks and close-range fights.
Best for subtle corrections when your manual aim is already close. The aimbot only kicks in when you're nearly on target — useful for AWP shots, long-range taps, and situations where you want the assistance to be nearly invisible.
The most common setting for general gameplay. Gives you enough leeway to catch targets on medium-speed peeks and sprays without snapping to enemies you weren't even looking at. Works well for rifles and SMGs.
Aggressive acquisition — any enemy within a large radius around your crosshair becomes a valid target. Best for close-quarters fights, rushing, and fast-paced situations where you need the aimbot to catch anyone near your screen centre quickly.
FOV control is the single most important setting for making the aimbot look legitimate. Too wide, and it'll snap to targets you weren't even looking at — obvious to spectators and overwatch reviewers. Too tight, and the aimbot won't activate when you need it.
The right FOV depends on your playstyle. If your crosshair placement is already strong, run a tight FOV and let the aimbot handle micro-adjustments. If you're playing aggressively and need help catching fast peeks, open it up slightly. Test different values in deathmatch before committing to a config for competitive.
You can set different FOV values per weapon. AWP gets a tight FOV for precise scoped shots. AK-47 runs a medium FOV for spray transfers. Pistols get a wider FOV for eco rounds where you're running at enemies and need faster acquisition. Every profile saves independently.
Lethality's aimbot supports two core modes: smooth aim and silent aim. Both serve different purposes depending on whether you prioritise visual legitimacy or maximum accuracy.
Smooth aim moves your crosshair gradually from its current position to the target bone. The speed of that movement is controlled by a smoothing value — low smoothing produces slow, human-like aim corrections that look natural to spectators. High smoothing makes the correction faster, closer to a flick.
Very slow corrections. Looks completely natural on spectator POV. Best for long-range fights where you have time to let the aim settle before firing. Takes a moment to reach the target.
Balanced speed. Corrections are visible but look like a fast manual flick. Most commonly used setting for general gameplay — fast enough to be useful, slow enough to avoid obvious snapping.
Near-instant corrections. The crosshair moves to target very quickly — borders on looking like a snap. Best for close-range fights where speed matters more than visual legitimacy. Higher detection risk.
Silent aim fires at the target hitbox without visibly moving your crosshair at all. From a spectator's perspective, your crosshair stays exactly where it is — but the shot still lands accurately on the enemy. This works by correcting the firing angle in the background while leaving the visual aim position unchanged.
Completely invisible to spectators. No crosshair movement means no obvious aimbot behaviour on demo review or overwatch. Your aim looks natural because it's your actual crosshair placement — the aimbot just makes the shots connect.
Silent aim only works within a limited angle range. If your crosshair is too far from the target, the correction can't be made silently — it'll either fail or default back to smooth aim. Best used with a tight FOV where you're already aiming close to the enemy.
Silent aim is ideal for holding angles, tapping at long range, and any situation where you're already pre-aimed and just need the final pixel-perfect correction to guarantee the headshot.
Use smooth aim with low-to-medium smoothing for general gameplay — it's the safest, most natural-looking option. Use silent aim when you're holding pre-aimed angles and want completely invisible corrections. You can run both simultaneously and let the aimbot decide which to apply based on angle and distance.
Targets the head hitbox for one-tap kills. Best for AWP, deagle, and AK-47 first-shot accuracy. Higher risk of missing if enemy movement is erratic or crosshair placement is poor.
Middle ground between head and chest. Still high damage, slightly larger hitbox than pure headshots. Less common but useful when enemies are crouched or partially obstructed.
Largest hitbox, most consistent hits. Best for spraying weapons like SMGs, rifles in full auto, and situations where you prioritise landing shots over maximising damage per bullet.
Dynamically targets whichever bone is closest to your current crosshair position. Useful for fast tracking on moving targets — the aimbot switches between head, chest, and limbs as needed.
Bone selection determines which part of the enemy player model the aimbot targets. Different bones suit different weapons and playstyles. AWP players want headshots. SMG users want body shots for consistent spray-down kills. Every weapon profile can hold its own bone priority setting.
Weapon-Specific Priorities
Your AWP config targets head. Your AK-47 config targets head for taps, chest for sprays. Your MP9 config always targets chest. The aimbot switches automatically based on your active weapon.
Fallback Logic
If the primary bone (e.g., head) isn't visible or trackable, the aimbot can fall back to a secondary option (e.g., chest). Ensures the aimbot always has a valid target even when enemies are partially obstructed or moving erratically.
Dynamic Switching
Some users run "nearest bone" as a default setting and let the aimbot decide frame-by-frame what to target. This is especially useful for tracking fast-moving enemies where static bone selection can miss frequently.
Every weapon in CS2 has different optimal settings. An AWP demands tight FOV and headshot targeting. An MP9 needs wider FOV and body shots. Per-weapon profiles let you save completely independent configurations for each weapon class — and the aimbot switches automatically when you change loadout.
Rifles (AK-47, M4A4, M4A1-S)
Balanced settings for mid-range fights. Head targeting for first-shot taps, body targeting if you commit to a spray. Medium FOV catches most peeks.
AWP / Scout
Tight FOV, low smoothing, head targeting only. Designed for precision long-range shots where you're already pre-aimed and just need the final pixel correction.
SMGs (MP9, MP7, MP5-SD)
Wide FOV, higher smoothing, body targeting. SMGs are for eco rounds and close fights — you want fast acquisition and consistent body hits over precision headshots.
Pistols (Deagle, USP-S, Glock)
Deagle gets head targeting and tight FOV for one-taps. Glock and USP get body targeting and slightly wider FOV for spam clicking. Each pistol can have its own profile.
Heavy Weapons (Negev, M249)
Heavy spray weapons benefit from body targeting and medium-high smoothing. You're suppressing, not tapping — consistent hits matter more than headshots.
Shotguns (Nova, XM1014, MAG-7)
Wide FOV, fast smoothing, body targeting. Shotguns are point-blank weapons — the aimbot just needs to put your crosshair somewhere on the enemy torso quickly.
The aimbot detects which weapon you're currently holding and loads the appropriate profile instantly. No manual switching, no config menu opens mid-round. You pick up an AWP, the aimbot loads your AWP config. You swap to pistol on eco, it switches to your pistol config. Completely seamless.
The aimbot is most effective when combined with good positioning, crosshair placement, and game sense. It's not a replacement for fundamentals — it's a tool that removes the margin for error when your setup is already strong.
Holding Pre-Aimed Angles
You've positioned yourself to watch a choke point. Your crosshair is already at head height on the exact pixel enemies will appear. The aimbot guarantees the shot lands the moment they peek — no reaction time, no missed flicks. This is where the aimbot shines: turning good positioning into guaranteed kills.
Spray Transfers
You're mid-spray on one enemy and a second appears in your peripheral. The aimbot handles the transfer — smoothly pivoting your crosshair from the first target to the second without breaking the spray. Clutch situations where manual transfers would mean wasted bullets and missed kills become consistent.
Long-Range AWP Shots
AWP duels at long range are decided by who lands the first shot. Silent aim with a tight FOV means your scoped shots land on target even when the enemy is barely visible. You're already scoped and aimed near them — the aimbot handles the final pixel-perfect correction.
Eco Round Pistol Spam
Eco rounds with pistols are chaotic. Everyone's moving fast, wide peeking, and spamming left-click. The aimbot keeps your crosshair locked to the nearest body mass while you spam — turning a low-accuracy spam fest into consistent hits. Wider FOV and body targeting work best here.
Post-Plant Holds

Deathmatch Practice

The aimbot can't fix bad positioning, poor crosshair placement at the macro level, or overextending into disadvantageous fights.
